Monty Armstrong

history
Monty Armstrong is currently an instructor and the Social Science Department Chair at Cerritos High School in Cerritos, California. His teaching experience includes AP* World History, AP* European History, and World History Honors. He has served as a Sample Selector and Table Leader for the AP* World History Reading since the first year in 2002. He was also a Reader in AP* European History from 1995-2001. He is also a member of the California Council for the Social Studies, National Council for the Social Sciences, the World History Association and the American Historical Association. He has also been a presenter at the conferences for all of these organizations over the past years. Monty is the lead author for the Princeton Review's
Guide to Cracking the AP* World History Exam and just finished writing the ancillary for the new AP* edition of Bulliets'
The Earth and Its Peoples. Monty has been the presenter for AP* World History at the Southern California AP* Summer Institute at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School since 2001.
